This class is an opportunity to learn how to ride a motorcycle and earn a Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) license waver. Its structure is 5 hours online before 2 in-person riding days conducted on consecutive days. Motorcycles are provided. Tuition is $155.00
Requirements to Enroll:
- Be a Nevada resident.
- Have a current class C driver's License or a learner's permit.
- Be at least 15.5 years old with a learner's permit.
- Be able to ride a two-wheeled bicycle. This class does not teach balancing vehicles.

- Have command of the English language. Inability to safely communicate with the coaches will be cause for dismissal.
- Have computer proficiency to access the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) ePackage1 eCourse and print the certificate or arrange for CSN staff to assist you.
- Students under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver in person or obtain a notarized signature prior to the start of class. The two (2) waivers are available below:

Complete the MSF eCourse and PASS a riding skills evaluation. Students will receive one riding skill evaluation per class.
You will take the completion card to NV DMV, so it must be correct. Please make sure the student profile has the following information:
Your complete first name as it appears on your NV Driver's license, your middle initial(s)
your complete last name as it appears on your NV Driver's license and any other items such as JR or II.
The Fallowing Safety Equipment/Clothing is required:
- Full face or ¾ face DOT-compliant helmet.
- Eye protection (Glasses/Sunglasses or face shield built into helmet)
- Long sleeved shirt or jacket
- Full finger gloves preferably leather.
- Long Pants, non-flared, made of denim or durable equivalent.
- Sturdy over the ankle boots. Sole must not crush, padding/ armor over ankle.

- You must be at least 15½ years of age

THE FOLLOWING CLOTHING IS REQUIRED:
- DOT approved 3/4 or full-face motorcycle helmet
- Eye protection (Glasses/Sunglasses or face shield)
- Gloves with full fingers
- Long sleeved shirt or jacket
- Long pants (jeans or similar fabric with no holes)
- Over the ankle boots with a hard sole: High heels or high top cloth athletic shoes are NOT permitted.

To attend the in-person riding days, students are required to complete the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s ePackage1 e Course.
- The cost of the e Course in included in your registration fee.
- The directions with the links imbedded will be sent with your registration conformation.
- The e Course is accessed through the MSF web site your CSN user name and password will NOT work.
- The e Course takes approximately 5 hours to complete from start to finish.
- Once completed, print or save a copy of your completion certificate and bring it to the first-class session.
- The completion date of the ecourse must be with in 30 days of the start of the in-person class.
IMPORTANT: The MSF e Courses are NOT accepted as a license waiver by any state department of motor vehicles, or as a license to ride a motorcycle or a learner’s permit.
