Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). This 16-hour course is designed for licensed healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies. This course enhances your knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat critically ill infants and children. Prerequisites: AHA CPR/BLS for Healthcare Provider card and Basic EKG certificate or equivalent experience preferred. Must receive an 84% or higher on AHA PreAssessment. CE’s provided by the NV Board of Nursing. CME’s available upon request. Text book is required & can be purchased separately at the Sahara West Ctr.
