This course introduces students to the fundamentals of chess, including piece movement, basic tactics, opening principles, and simple endgames. Emphasis is placed on strategic thinking, focus, problem solving, & decision-making skills. The course is designed for beginners and welcomes learners of all backgrounds & experience levels.
Chessboards will be provided for the class. All worksheets and handouts will be shared digitally.
