Welcome to our HSE (formerly GED) classes!

Questions? Call 702-651-4487

When people say "GED" they are referring to high school equivalency (HSE). If you have not received a high school diploma and wish to go to college, attend vocational training or enlist in the military you need an HSE certificate.

HSE classes prepare students to take any of the three High School Equivalency Exams: GED, TASC, or HiSet.

HSE prep courses prepare students to master basic skills while exploring career and workplace skills. Students will develop basic math, social studies, science and reading/writing skills needed to earn the HSE certificate.

All courses offer an online study component. The National Career Readiness Certificate assessment is also available.

Class placement is based on assessment. Students only take the classes needed.

Different classes are offered at several sites in Las Vegas, and morning or evening options are available. Visit our Facebook page at ALLPCSN for a clickable map of site locations. Click on each link below for class details.

Fees: None! There are no charges for tuition or textbooks. (Students only pay for official HSE certificate testing.)

No walk-ins to sign-up. Students are officially enrolled at the College of Southern Nevada and must follow, and are accountable to, all CSN student conduct policies.
