This assessment information applies only to applicants for the Henderson Fire Fighter recruitment period that ends on March 12, 2018. 

To register for this Fire Fighter Recruitment Written Examination you must have an Applicant Identification Number.
The Applicant Identification Number is located on the written examination invitation provided to eligible applicants via email by the City of Henderson Human Resources.

Registrants for this Fire Fighter Recruitment Written Examination who do not have a valid Applicant Identification Number will not be allowed to test.

Candidates invited to the written examination portion of the assessment process must present a valid picture ID, such as a driver license or state identification card, and the invitation to the Fire Fighter Written Exam with your Applicant Identification Number. No cell phones or other electronic device will be allowed.

The Fire Fighter Written Exam is a written test that is administered in a group setting. Candidates will be tested on: reading comprehension, tool identification, basic math, grammar, reasoning, and spelling.
