This course is a self-paced casino dealing open lab where students will train in their choice of any of the following games: Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, European Roulette, Pai Gow Poker, Casino War, Crazy 4 Poker, High Card Flush, Let-It-Ride Poker, Mississippi Stud, Three Card Poker, and/or Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker. Students will receive personalized instruction in the dealing procedures, game protection fundamentals, mathematical computations, manual dexterity, and customer service standards applicable to the game(s) they have selected to learn.

Students will make their game selection(s) on the first day of class. 

Upon fulfilling all game requirements, students will receive a Certificate of Completion, and will be adequately prepared for entry-level casino dealing positions in the gaming industry.

Recommended Number of Sessions
The speed in which a student progresses through a specific game relies on several variables, including but not limited to casino dealing experience, class attendance, game complexity, and practice outside of class. As a general guideline, the recommended number of times a student should enroll into this course to become proficient and audition-ready in a game is as follows:
  • Baccarat (6-8 sessions)  
  • Blackjack (8-10 sessions)  
  • Craps (20-24 sessions)  
  • Roulette (8-12 sessions)  
  • European Roulette (8-12 sessions)  
  • Pai Gow Poker (4-6 sessions)
  • Casino War (1-2 sessions)
  • Crazy 4 Poker (1-2 sessions)  
  • High Card Flush (1-2 sessions)  
  • Let-It-Ride Poker (1-2 sessions)  
  • Mississippi Stud (1-2 sessions)  
  • Three Card Poker (1-2 sessions)  
  • Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker (1-2 sessions)
Casino Dealing courses can be purchased as a two-session course ($50), a three-session course ($75) or a four-session course ($100). Students are permitted to study multiple games in one course.
