The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid With CPR & AED course is designed to meet OSHA requirements. This class teaches basic First Aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) skills. |
This class is intended for designated non-healthcare first responders, organizational safety officers and persons who needed certification for regulatory requirements in education, hospitality, food service, et cetera. This class is also for the concerned citizen who wishes to be prepared to help family, friends and neighbors in crisis. |
For those who work in the medical field the AHA recommends the BLS for Healthcare Providers course which we do provide at CSN. |

During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their First Aid, CPR and AED skills practice and CPR and AED skills testing. Students who successfully demonstrate skills in class will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid With CPR & AED Course Completion Card. This completion card is valid for two years. |
