Facilities Maintenance - Intro to Electrical

INTRO TO ELECTRICAL
This course introduces students to the entry-level skills needed to be successful in the Facilities Maintenance and Operations Electrical field. Students will learn through a hybrid of lecture and hands-on training. Modules from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Electrical Curriculum are combined with labs on state-of-the-art LabVolt training equipment to include the following topics:

 
  • Electrical Safety
  • Electrical Trade Math
  • Electrical Theory
  • Series & Parallel Circuits
  • Electrical Installation, Repair, & Maintenance
  • Intro to the National Electric Code
 
Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.
