Twin Lakes ELA AM Class Information (Not open to the public)
The Adult Literacy & Language Program offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes (formerly referred to as English as a Second Language) for students whose goal is to gain confidence in reading, writing, listening, and speaking English in addition to acquiring workplace skills. Class curriculum includes an on-line component. Please read the information below for a list of current class offerings at this location.

Note: All students will participate in assessment testing to determine class assignment. A class assignment is not guaranteed. Advisors will assist students who do not qualify with other course options.
|Multilevel 1: Beginning/Low Intermediate
||This class is designed to help students in reading and writing letters, numbers, common site words, signs, maps and menus. Students will learn how to fill out forms and write short simple notes and messages. Students will also practice speaking, listening, and workplace skills to handle routine entry-level jobs.
|Multilevel 2: High Intermediate/Advanced
||This class is designed to assist students in reading and filling out basic medical forms and job applications. Students will also be able to interpret simple charts, graphs, and labels; interpret a payroll stub; and complete a simple order form. Students will also practice oral communication and workplace skills.
