The School Health Assistant training course provides enhanced health care education as it relates to the duties and tasks performed by School Health Assistants in the Health Office setting at Clark County School District schools. The SHA course includes 75 hours of instruction in a 4-week course that combines online (virtual) instruction and in-person (live) skills training. Lesson quizzes and skills pass-offs are used to ensure existing and newly hired FASAs are competent with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully fulfill the job responsibilities of a SHA at CCSD.
