In this course, we will cover setting up your workstation, wet on wet, dry on dry, and dry on wet techniques.  We will go over the S curve and other brush strokes.  We will practice a variety of washes and texturing.  We will cover analogous and complimentary color combinations using the provided color wheels.  Throughout the course students will be creating a number of small-scale paintings showing the different techniques. Students will create a final regular-size painting using a variety of methods.  At the end of the class, we will discuss our finished projects, discuss our presentation, and discuss continuing your work in this fascinating medium.
