In this course, we will cover setting up an acrylic paint workstation and the necessary materials for this art form.  We will work on prepping paper or canvas with gesso, basic paint application, gradations, value, understanding light, shadow, and planes, simple reflections, mixing tints and shades, and laying cool over warm colors.  Our final project will involve painting a floral still life.
