Frequently Asked Questions
How can I register for a class?

There are four (4) ways to register and pay…
ONLINE:

The Division of Workforce and Economic Development invites you to register with our new Web Registration System. We hope you will find the new registration experience to be easier, more efficient and more convenient than ever. Since this is the first semester the new system will be in use, you should start by creating a New Student Account. This step is free and it’s easy. If you have taken classes with the Division before April 2011, you will still be required to create your New Student profile. All you will need is an e-mail address. Just follow these simple steps:

STEP ONE: click "Sign In" on the left .
STEP TWO: click “create new student profile”.

Once that is complete you can shop for your class. To see classes: click "Courses" on the left and then click on categories.

Do I have to pay for the class when I register or when I attend the class?

Payment for classes must be received at the time of registration. Some classes have small material fees payable to the instructor. A check or money order can be brought to the first day of class for these fees. The class description will display this information. Please, read the class description before registering.

Can a minor attend a class?

Students under the age of 16 (unless otherwise noted) must have the approval of a parent or guardian, the instructor, and CSN prior to attending any noncredit course. If the parent or guardian enrolls with the child, an exception is made.

What happens if my class is cancelled?

CSN makes all reasonable attempts to notify students of changes or course cancellations. If a class is canceled, you will automatically receive a full refund. CSN reserves the right to discontinue, postpone or cancel classes and to change course locations or instructors.
