A professional distance learning course on cultural competency and the Intercultural Engagement and Inclusion Framework, has been developed by the College of Southern Nevada and the Clark County School District's Equity and Diversity Education Department. The distance learning course will focus on skills, knowledge, and attitudes related to culturally inclusive teaching practices; as well as, multicultural education standards, equity, and access in education.

The 45-hour professional distance learning course is approved by the Nevada Department of Education and fulfills the Nevada Revised Statutes 391.0347 requirements for licensure renewal.

• This is a course for licensure renewal only, not valid for first time license issuance.

• This is not a credit-bearing course, an official transcript will not be provided.

• All students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate of completion.
